Filet Mignon with Coffee Sauce :
- 1 Lb filet mignon
- 2 TBSP margarine
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 cup red wine
- 1 TBSP flour
- 1 cup brewed coffee
- 1 beef stock cube
For the sauce: melt the margarine in a pan and brown the chopped onion. Dissolve the flour in the red wine and add to the pan. Add the coffee, the stock cube and salt to taste. Stir until thick.
Grill the fillet mignons, and add the sauce and serve.
Salmon with Coffee Sauce :
- Salmon in slices
- 2 TBSP margarine
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 cup of pineapple juice
- 1 TBSP flour cup brewed coffee
- Salt Chopped parsley
For the sauce: melt the margarine in a pan and brown the chopped onion. Dissolve the flour in the pineapple juice and add to the pan. Add the coffee and salt to taste. Stir until thick. Bake the salmon slices and add the sauce. Decorate with chopped parsley.
